Juan Abella Asuncion Jr. is an Associate Professor III and Dean of the College of Tourism and Hospitality Management at the President Ramon Magsaysay State University, Iba Campus, Iba, Zambales. He graduated with a Doctor of Business Administration from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, Manila. He studied BS Tourism at Columban College in Olongapo City and worked as the Department Head of the College of Hotel and Restaurant Management at Botolan Community College (now Polytechnic College of Botolan), Botolan, Zambales. He enhanced his management knowledge by completing his Master's in Public Management at Columban College in Olongapo City. His passion for teaching and experience in tourism and hospitality education position him as the Dean of the College of Tourism and Hospitality Management at the President Ramon Magsaysay State University. He is an active member of Asia-Pacific Consortium of Researches and Educators, Inc. (APCORE), Council of Hotel and Restaurant Educators of the Philippines (COHREP), Association of Administrators in Hospitality, Hotel and Restaurant Educational Institutions (AAHRMEI), Philippine Association of Researchers for Tourism and Hospitality (PARTH), Asian Intellect for Academic Organization and Development, EdukCircle and Global Leadership in Hospitality and Tourism Management.
